What is BrightMove People Parser?
People Parser is a free Chrome browser extension that lets you capture candidate or contact information from any web page and parse it directly into a new BrightMove Applicant or Contact profile.
How do I parse a specific section of a page?
Highlight the text you want captured, then click the People Parser icon in your Chrome toolbar. To parse the entire page instead, click the icon without highlighting anything.
Can I parse LinkedIn profiles?
Yes, but only the downloadable PDF version of a LinkedIn profile. Scraping or copy/pasting LinkedIn profile data any other way isn’t supported, per LinkedIn’s Terms of Service.
What happens if the parsed profile already exists in my ATS?
People Parser automatically runs the capture through your company’s duplication check settings. If a match is found, you can push the new details into the existing profile or save it as a new one.
Can I submit a parsed candidate to a job right away?
Yes. While parsing, you can add the candidate to a folder and/or submit them to one of your most recently viewed jobs, all from the same parse window.
