More and more people are accessing the internet from mobile devices. On the recruitment front, one study found that 10.9 million workers searched for jobs using mobile devices in August 2013, up from 3.8 million in August 2012. Additionally, nearly one third of Google searches for "jobs" now come from mobile devices and all leading employment sites report that more than 40% of its traffic comes from mobile visitors. BrightMove's SMS service allows users to send SMS messages directly from the BrightMove interface. The messages can be configured to be triggered at any point in the hiring process and both inbound and outbound messages are recorded on the candidate profile. Users can create templates to streamline the process or use a blank SMS template. Messages can be sent directly from the candidate profile or en masse to multiple candidates simultaneously.
